My boyfriend bought Hawaiian fabrics this spring at some fabric shops in Downtown LA…….and a friend of his at Studio Rouge NYC,  is making him some new shirts .

Life is brightly colored around me this summer.

It makes us smile every day, 5 times a day, when total strangers give him a shout out : NICE SHIRT !

and for those who have asked me how many he has : he has 99  and they are arranged by themes :

toucans, hula girls, Hawaiian maps, flowers, flamingos, sexy girls  etc etc

thank you ! my boyfriend owns 152 hawaiian shirts going back 30 years…so I guess he was trendy ahead of his time ? i have always disliked them…now i am crazy for them. But girls have to wear them open with a tank top underneath otherwise you lose all shape and look like a Fedex box : square , short and fat. I just started buying mine from the Oakland flea market for 10$ each .
