Goats in the moats
Strolling through the Tuileries gardens in Paris this month of June you will see abundant blue iris, ducks,crows and …goats…yes, goats.
These are moat goats, or ditch goats. They are an ancient and rare species used to trim the grass in places where it is difficult or risky to use manual grass cutters or lawnmowers.
Pity they don’t eat the plastic bags lying there.
