A perfect flight jacket
A couple of months ago I got this flight jacket from my buddy Shawn Stussy’s S/Double Design Shop
I have not taken it off all California winter and taking it now to Europe to wear through the spring.
It has 5 pockets which means that I don’t need to carry a handbag : keys, wallet, notebook, glasses, pen, and phone are all safely tucked away in proper deep pockets that close, for me a must, specially when I travel.
Shawn has slimmed down this all time classic for a modern fit. It is in 100% black nylon which, listen to this : you can throw in the washing machine AND drier. SS says that the more you wash it the softer it gets
It is not only well built and gorgeously detailed but the shape and luxurious finish of the fabric means that I can wear it either with my usual jeans , t shirt and indigo shirt look or in the evening with a pair of slouchy Celine pants and flat sandals or heels. It is one of the most versatile items I have ever had.

I am a woman’s medium , european size 38 or 40 american size 6 or 8
I am 1.72 meters = 5.6 feet
another friend of mine tried mine on, she is way shorter and smaller than me but it still looked perfect without looking boxy
